Warwick: Nicole. I'm really sorry about last night.
Me: Sorry? Why are you sorry?
Warwick: Because I was snoring so much. I don't know why I was having such a hard time breathing.

Thanksgiving Eve Dinner: Healthy Choice Top Chef Cafe Steamers
This is where I am today. In my car, on my way to my sister’s house, typing away to you because you’re such a great listener.
It’s 24 hours before Thanksgiving Dinner is due on the table, and I’m stressed the mess out.
I went to Walmart at midnight, Tom Thumb at 6am, and still I have no crystallized ginger. Guess what I’ll be making from scratch later on today. Hope it’s easy.
My hair is scraggly, I want to get it chopped off, and Warwick got all tiffy because I prefer to get my locks cut at inappropriate times. Meaning when I should be roasting a turkey.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 Movie Review - please tell me you're not surprised
Hi.
I'm back.
Sorry I've been gone so long. I didn't intend for it to be this way. It's just that I had to go see Breaking Dawn with my bestie. And I had good intentions of typing away to you at 3 am all my thoughts about the movie immediately after the midnight showing, but I was in a total daze.
Let me show you why.

Ramblings on Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Butterscotch Bread Pudding for your Thanksgiving Dessert!
[If you haven't already, enter my latest giveaway, it ends 11/20/11. It's for Chinese Food. Yum.]
As I type this it is exactly 2 days 17 hours and 07 minutes and 56 seconds before Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes out.
THIS IS A HUGE DEAL.
I read all of the books in the span of 2 weeks. There are 4, and they are huge, and I have 4 kids. That's a big deal.
I watched the first movie Twilight at home with my husband and I fell in love all over again, with him, cinema, and ummm. . .errrrrr. . . .Edward Cullen. Vampire Extraordinaire, for lack of a better term.
The second movie, New Moon, I watched with a group of my girlfriend's friends at a midnight showing. That was a little weird. But the movie was ON POINT, so it was totally worth it.

Thanksgiving Table - My Absolute Favorite Macaroni and Cheese
I don't even know why I'm mad anymore.
Maybe it's because everybody always blames everything on me.
Right now, I should be calling my husband on the phone but I'm a little ticked off. He left this morning without kissing me, and that is no way to start your day off. A kiss from me could cure world hunger, create world peace. I'm just sayin'.
Anyway it's probably because I yelled at him. Because he said my daughter could get crabs.

November 4th, Friday.
6:30pm Family arrives at our second JCPenney of the night (apparently the one closest to our house is too small for Mr. Woo), on the hunt for jeans for the 11 year old. She grew over night and refuses to wear high waters.
Also on the hunt for junior sized Christmas dress for pictures. . . .that will be taken in 3 days. None spotted. Apparently if you're 5'1" and 11, you should be wearing hoochie clothes.
6:35 pm.
Mr. Woo forgot the stroller. He goes to retrieve it from the Yukon. Meanwhile, the girls and I roam around the Christmas section. So pretty. Bella spots a dark brown Santa. Rosy cheeks with a bowl full of jelly. She says, "Now that is the Santa I believe in." My heart goes pitter patter.

Holiday Dessert: Quick and EASY Pumpkin Cake/Bread and Music by KEM - Why would you stay?
I miss my husband.
He's still here, and I'm still here, but I just miss him.
We go to soccer together, softball together, eat dinner, and talk about bills together, but I MISS HIM.
We don't get to dance as much as we used to. Or just lie around and be lazy. He's really fun to just lie around and be lazy with. I think our lives are too crazy. I think maybe we have to figure out how to slow down. Watch more TV. Go on more walks. Jump in muddy puddles. Roll down some hills. I think that's what we need to do.
We need time to just chill. You know, just be.

Ever just wake up and look at your face and wonder.
Wonder about your face and every body else's face, and the things they do to it?
